Dear God, what a shock to read this. Although I met Parrish only once, I have corresponded with him many many times over the years as he sought to publicise his battles with more or less everyone, from the health minster to the Alfred Hospital, the housing commission, over his health, his treatment, his partners health , his housing . . . . in fact, Parrish and I first spoke when I refused to broadcast an item about him on Joy, and he said he would picket the radio station! What a tragedy for Parrish, his partner Peter, and the poor cabbie!
